Two short years ago this crazy bird...aka Sherman...gave sweet Davis nightmares. We entered the stadium and he spotted Sherman waaaay across the field. He screamed like he had been murdered & ran out of the stadium. I'm not joking- it was so sad. Looking back, I probably should have been more patient. We did our best to avoid any type of costume, etc. from that point on!
Well, fast forward to last friday night and it was a whole new experience. He LOVED Sherman. In fact, him & I went on a wild bird chase around the stadium tracking this big fluffy bird down. In the picture above, he was getting on the elevator and I begged him to stop for a picture!

Carson was not a big fan of Sherman yet. As long as she had cotton candy and he stayed 5 feet away we were ok!
Shane got us some excellent seats so we could be up close & personal with Mr. Sherman most of the evening. Whewwww...glad to be over that phase.
Another highlight of the night were the amazing fireworks at the end! Everyone had to potty & eyes were getting sleepy so we watched them from the car. They were beautiful!! You know, we are so big now...we even like fireworks. Sure makes outings more fun when we are not dodging things that may terrify the little people. It was a super fun night!
