thankful

Thankful for a wonderful November.
Thankful that I don't have to download any pictures for this post....because I didn't take one stinkin' picture with my camera for the month of November.
Thankful for Instagram and my handy cell phone that captures life moments.
Thankful that my mom drove all the way up from Georgia to spend the perfect thanksgiving with us.
Thankful that she baked cookies, read books, brought us a tree, and crafted so that we could have a night out!
Thankful that she wants to make such tender memories with my kids.
Thankful for obedient, kind, funny, and healthy children.
Thankful for a husband that loves me and puts his family first.
Thankful for this time together in Maryland.
Thankful that I get one more beach season before reality slaps me in the face.
Thankful that I have friends who understand and love me.
Blessed indeed.
Happy (picture-less) November!

Fall trip to Georgia

Our trip home was perfect.  Well, except that we had to leave daddy at home to work.  We squeezed in as many hugs and fun play dates that we possibly could.   So fun, but there is never enough time to do all that we want to do while we are there.
First stop....our traditional trip to Burt's Pumpkin farm.  We sure missed the Beckler's this year.  Pumpkin sittin', playing chase, and a hayride were a must.  A short crazy visit was worth being able to see our friends for a little while!
Christian, Callie, and Cate
I'm obsessed with this picture.  I love that they are not looking and to me it's the perfect facial expressions to remind me of who they are.
Old friends really are the best friends.  My favorite picture of all of us...
We were lucky to have Grandpa join us too!
After we left the pumpkin farm, we went into Dahlonega for lunch and a carriage ride.  Super fun day!
On the way back home, I became a serious leaf looker.  The leaves were amazing this year!!

Sweet baby in her new headband.
We had a fun date night with a few of our favorite cousins.  To the park, out to dinner, and an ice cream treat!  It was too fun.

We were lucky enough to have Nana spend the weekend with us.  She loved on these two as much as she possibly could!  This picture was from uncle Rich's church fall festival.  Nana found this awesome Tinkerbell costume...which Carson loves of course.
